Lolo Jones brings Ask, Listen, Learn back home!
April 29, 2011We were very excited to work with track and field superstar Lolo Jones yesterday, at her Alma Mater, Callanan Middle School in Des Moines, Iowa. As one of our Ask, Listen, Learn SuperStars, Lolo Jones is an inspirational figure to kids – proof that saying 'YES' to a healthy lifestyle and 'NO' to underage drinking are the foundation to achieving your best.
We had a fantastic time with the kids, who were clearly a little awestruck by Lolo Jones' presence. She quickly put them to ease, and we all had a great time learning and playing. Many thanks to Lolo for all her hard work, and to the kids of Callanan Middle School for being so enthusiastic!
Representative Berkley shows kids how to Ask, Listen, Learn!
April 27, 2011We had a great Ask, Listen, Learn event with Representative Shelley Berkley in Las Vegas this week. We visited John C. Fremont Middle School, the representative's alma mater, bringing with us one of the Ask Listen Learn games.
The kids were fantastic – they caught on quickly to the game, learning as hard as they played. Representative Berkley had a lot to say to the kids as well, urging them to stay away from underage drinking and to live a healthy, active lifestyle.
We'd like to thank Rep. Berkley and her staff for their support, and the kids of John C. Fremont Middle School for their enthusiasm!
April Showers...
April 25, 2011What can you do to keep your kids from being bored on a rainy day?

Make a time capsule: Put in little mementos that mean something to your kids and have them write a letter to their future selves including their favorite food, TV show, music, outfit, best friends, favorite sport, ect. Bury it in your back yard when the ground is soft after the rain stops!
Build a fort with sheets and chairs and climb inside with pillows and stuffed animal friends. Tell ghost stories if you're not afraid

As a advocate for positive body image, self esteem and healthy living (without diets) I am often approached by parents who want to know how to help their kids. Typically they want to know how to help their child lose weight, avoid gaining weight, be happier in their clothes, fit in with the “right” crowd, stop being bullied, be more social, stop relapsing after “summer fat camp” and more....

April 5, 2011For the last four years we've recorded Public Service Announcements with State Attorneys General from all over the country. They've always been a highlight of our year, and pretty successful. However, we thought they might be a little dry for younger viewers.
We recorded a set of PSAs for Attorneys General this year, but we did something a little different this time. We made them a little more interesting.
We recorded 13 animated PSAs and 12 radio PSAs with 23 Attorneys General (2 recorded radio and animated) and we very much hope you'll enjoy the final product. Check out our YouTube channel to see all of the PSAs, or see if your Attorney General recorded a PSA.
We'd like to thank all the Attorneys General who demonstrated their commitment their state's children, and everyone who helped us get these PSAs on the air.
